Still healthy and kicking, the 96-year-old Filipino politician and lawyer Juan Ponce Enrile have live through many historical events. He was born on February 14, 1924, and have gone through Martial Law during the presidency of Ferdinand Marcos. At such time, he served as Justice Secretary and Defense Minister under the Marcos regime.
During the 1986 People Power Revolution, he was among the leaders with Fidel Ramos. And since November 2008 until his resignation on June 5, 2013, he was the Senate President. He surely is among the most famous personalities in the field of politics.

Enrile is a cum laude graduate in 1949 with an Associate of Arts degree from Ateneo de Manila University. He then took up a law course in University of the Philippines College of Law and graduated cum laude and placed 11th in the 1953 bar examinations with a rating of 91.72%.
