Mayor Emerson Pascual of Gapan City Shows Act of Kindness After Giving Whole Chicken to Residents
GAPAN, NUEVA ECIJA – The video footage of Gapan City Mayor Emerson Pascual giving whole chicken to the residents goes viral online.
Since last week, the Philippine government is already implementing stricter regulations in different parts of the country to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease in the country. President Duterte has also placed the entire Luzon under enhanced community quarantine.
The local government units are imposing precautionary measures on every border to contain the spread of COVID-19. Several local officials are already distributing relief goods to the residents amid the health crisis.
Recently, the Facebook page “Pinoy Trending News” has shared the video footage of Mayor Emerson Pascual of Gapan City, Nueva Ecija giving whole and live chickens to the residents amid the coronavirus outbreak.
In the video, it can be seen that the city mayor together with his colleagues is giving whole chickens to each home. The residents were grateful to the kindness and generosity of the local government officials in the city.
