Koko Pimentel Ex-partner: Jewel Lobaton speaks up
Koko Pimentel Ex-Partner – Miss Universe Philippines 1998 Jewel Lobaton reacted to the health issue involving the Senator who tested positive for COVID-19.
On Wednesday, the coronavirus test result of the politician was released and he tested positive. Amid this health concern, Pimentel also got worried about the health of his pregnant wife.
However, instead of messages of concern, the Senator received bashing from the online community because of his reported transgression of quarantine protocol. Following this, reports stated that Pimentel was spotted at various venues when he was supposed to be in self-quarantine.
Amid this issue, Koko Pimentel’s ex-partner Jewel Lobaton also spoke up. Based on the article from PUSH, the former beauty queen said that she is worried about the health of their two children who are now in the Senator’s custody.
“It’s true na when your family is involved it’s another story. I’ve been quiet for many years, but now sabi ko, ‘I will do everything as a mother to make sure that my children are safe.’ Since I know that they were exposed during the time that na symptoms are there already,” Jewel said.
She also shared that she has been crying and praying for the health of her children and she wanted to get them tested as soon as possible. Based on the article, the last time that the former beauty queen last talked to her children was on March 13.
Jewel is now reaching out to people that could help her know the current situation of her children. “Right now, hindi ko alam no, but I’m trying to ask my lawyers on temporary custody. Second, since naka self-quarantine sila, lahat naman tayo is PUM (Person Under Monitoring) I’m trying to reach out friends from the DOH to at least have them tested as early as now. I’m trying to reach out Mayor of Marikina, actually hindi ko alam,” she said.
She also said that she is thankful that through media she can air out her concern, based on the article. “Kasi gusto ko na sila puntahan, gusto ko na sila makita pero siyempre I have to be careful also,” Jewel added.
Amid her worries, Jewel has this message for her kids: “Martin, Akio, Mama is still looking for you. I’ve been praying for you to Jesus, I always, tell you to pray to Jesus if you can’t find a help anywhere. I love you so much and I only want the best for you, please take care of each other. I always tell them to love their parents, I always tell them to love the Lord and to love each other as brothers, and I hope you (Kids) take care of yourself. If anything or anything just call me, should they need a mama when they see symptoms like fever or anything. Like just a company, even just someone to talk to.”
