In Sotto’s post on Facebook, the mobile palengke was launched in order to reduce the number of individuals going to the city’s Mega Market and wet markets.

He added that the prices of products are still the same as when it was sold in markets, only that it is more accessible to residents. Products such as rice, meat, and vegetables are from the city.

Sotto said that the official page of Pasig PIO will further post the schedule of about 5 mobile palengkes.
