Philippine Heart Center 6 Doctors Test Positive For Coronavirus Disease

Six doctors from Philippine Heart Center are coronavirus positive.

PHILIPPINE HEART CENTER – There are at least six (6) doctors from Philippine Heart Center have tested positive for the COVID-19.

The terrifying pace of the coronavirus disease 2019 in terms of spreading have cause fear to people all around the world. This contagion have already been declared by the Department of Health (DOH) as pandemic and in the Philippines, the number of confirmed cases already exceeded the 500 mark.

And now, with all our frontliners at high risk of contracting with the virus, the Philippine Heart Center (PHC), according to the information from executive director Dr. Joel Abanilla, there are at least six (6) doctors from the medical institution have already tested positive. The number stated included the deceased cardiologists Dr. Israel Bactol and Dr. Raul Diaz Jara.

This basically means that there are four left who have the virus. The executive director of the health facility stated as per GMA, “As of now, we have six other doctors who are also positive. Of course, mawala na diyan si Jara at tsaka si Bactol. So may apat.”

To recall, there is one doctor who died over the weekend when a patient lied about his condition and travel history. This caused for the doctor to be infected and his untimely death. This story has circulated online and broke numerous hearts.

Meanwhile, the country is now put under state of calamity and the entirety of Luzon is currently under enhanced community quarantine. As per the latest bulletin, there are already 501 confirmed cases in the country, 33 death, and 19 patients have already recovered from the disease which ultimately attacks the respiratory system and one’s condition, if infected might get worsen when there is an underlying condition.
