A mentally incapacitated mother gave birth to her child on the street
Netizens expressed devastation upon seeing the photos of a mentally incapacitated mother who gave birth to her child on the street.
Facebook user Bhew shared on her account on March 18 the photos of the said mother who was sitting on the street carrying her newborn baby. Based on the caption of the netizen, the location where the mother gave birth was in Dasmarinas, Cavite.
As of press time, the post of the uploader already received 11 thousand reactions and reached 42 thousand shares. Netizens who reacted to this were saddened and some tried to suggest steps in order to help the poor mother and her baby.
Facebook user Annabelle Atabay shared a photo that apparently showed the mentally incapacitated woman when she was still pregnant. “Sya yata toh may nag post na sknya ngnakraan ttoo nmn pla manganganak na talaga sya… (crying emojit) sna makatalong.. Buti pa yan kesa sa mga nanay mtitino pero tinatapon at napapatay ang bata buti pa sya.. Mahal nya anak nya!! Nakakalongkot isipin na kong sno may kakulangan sa pgiisip sya pang ngpapahalaga.. Sa qnak nya,” Atabay wrote.
Several netizens asked for an update on what happened to the poor mother if they already received help. Facebook user Joyce Bautista shared a screenshot of a netizen’s comment stating that the mother and her child were brought to a medical institution. Facebook user Kayla Villaflor Montilla shared that authorities had a hard time convincing the mother to go with them.
The said netizen also shared that the mother gave birth to a girl. “Baby girl po yung baby niya and ang ganda po at ang puti. Sa nais pong tumulong nasa pagamutan po sila ng dasma ngayon (dasca),” Montilla wrote.
