15 New Coronavirus Cases Recorded by DOH

DOH – The Department of Health recorded fifteen (15) new cases of the 2019 novel coronavirus in the Philippines.

Philippines is now implementing all the measures necessary and essential to curb the spread of the 2019 novel coronavirus or COVID-19 in the country. The confirmed cases continue to take an upward trend.

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has already declared a state of calamity in the whole Philippines. The local government units (LGUs) may now use their funds in the fight against the spread of COVID-19.

Also, the Chief Executive has placed the entire Luzon under an enhanced community quarantine. Movements from city to city are strictly prohibited and monitored.

Previously, the total confirmed cases of coronavirus in the Philippines was 202. Recently, the Department of Health posted the number of newly-confirmed cases of COVID-19.

According to DOH, 15 new coronavirus cases were confirmed. This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines to 217. The health department also reported one (1) additional recovery to the seven (7) recorded recoveries.
