Belo Medical Group will donate personal protective equipment (PPEs) to clinics and hospitals amid the COVID-19 threat in the Philippines.

Aside from this, the company headed by beauty doctor Vicki Belo will give compensation to their employees. Through her recent Instagram post, she expressed her unity to the program of the government amid the spread of the new coronavirus in the country.

Vicki said that they will continue to donate medical equipment once the remaining shipments arrive. In her post, she also addressed the step they decided to make for the benefits of their employees amid the community quarantine.

Here are the compensations that the Belo Medical Group will give to their employees:

  • The extension of our full-pay, full-benefits for all our employees despite the work suspension.
  • Early release of employees’ 13th month pay
  • A modified “no work, with pay” scheme if the suspension of work last beyond the month of May

Following this, the beauty doctor also encouraged their fellow beauty and wellness clinics to do the same. “Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures. Belo Medical Group stays in solidarity with the government, and the people in our continued fight against the spread of COVID-19,” Vicki Belo said in her post.
