Selfish Guy Buys 17,000 Hand Sanitizers & Resell It For Higher Price, Online Shopping Sites Banned for Overpriced Items

A selfish guy buys 17,000 hand sanitizers and now stuck with them in his garage after he was banned to sell the items for overpricing.

Last week, the World Health Organization has declared the coronavirus disease 2019 as “Pandemic”, which scared millions of people worldwide. The disease is currently spreading and infected thousands of people all around the world.

The health scare cause panic buying of medical supplies including face masks, alcohol, hand sanitizers, and other types of disinfectants. The hoarders buy in-bulk and resell the items online for a higher price.

Recently, a 36-year-old former Air Force technical sergeant and Amazon seller named Matt Colvin earned almost $90,000 after selling ‘pandemic packs’. Colvin purchased the items for $3.50 each, instead of its original selling price of $5 each.

The guy posted the items on eBay for $50 and sold out hundreds of the pandemic packs and earned an estimated amount of $90,000. However, he refused to state the amount he earned from the items.

Due to the success of ‘pandemic packs’, Colvin bought a massive amount of hand sanitizers in Tennessee and Kentucky. He starts to pack all the goods and post them on Amazon and eBay.

The selfish guy starts to sell and was able to dispose at least 300 bottles of hand sanitizers for $70 each before Amazon and eBay took down his post and banned him for life for price gouging. Currently, he was stuck forever with those hand sanitizers.

It’s been a huge amount of whiplash. From being in a situation where what I’ve got coming and going could potentially put my family in a really good place financially to ‘What the heck am I going to do with all of this?’” Matt said.
