However, that became one of the points why some people believed that it was a “fake ambush”. Former broadcast journalist Jay Sonza even tagged the incident as “isang malaking drawing”. With that, several netizens also expressed the same thought that the shooting incident was just staged.

However, there were also those who defended Kim and that included Ogie Diaz and her Love Thy Woman co-star Sunshine Cruz. In a previous report, it was just that the Kapamilya actress as not the real target. Allegedly, the bullets were for a politician who also lives in the same village where Kim is living.

After more than a week since the incident happened, the actress expressed happiness and her realization of how important life is. She also thanked those people who showed concern for her and just ignored the bashers.

However, Kim Chiu answered a netizen who questioned the credibility of her story. Apparently, Instagram user @flytoot3 could not believe the initial reaction of the actress after the shooting incident. The netizen stressed out that what Kim had shown was not the normal reaction of someone whose van was shot.

The answer of the actress to this was, “It’s because I’m not scared. The bullet is not for me. I’m happy I’m alive and that’s more important than waste your time being an “investigator” keme.”
