Keep the phone away from dirty surfaces.
Coronaviruses like COVID-19 can remain on glass surfaces, metals, or even plastic for up to nine days. So think about where you’re placing your phone.
Clean your phone regularly
You need to do this with all of your mobile devices. Not only do you need to wash your hands, but you should also clean your devices as well.
Keep your phone to yourself
According to an article from ABS-CBN, infectious disease specialist Dr. Mario Panaligan advised the public to not allow others to touch or use your phone. In addition, he said not to use others’ phones as well.
Use Earphones when making calls
Simply washing your phone with alcohol could easily get rid of viruses on the surface. However, this could damage your device. That’s why when placing calls, you could consider using earphones instead.
This prevents you from close contact with your phone as well as not risking damaging your device.
