Woman Work as Engineer, Angkas Driver, Tricycle Driver to Support Family

A hardworking woman work as an engineer at day, Angkas driver at night and tricycle driver on weekend to support her family.

As a celebration of the National Women’s Month in the country, in an episode of the longest noontime shows Eat Bulaga the “Bawal ang Judgmental” they featured empowered women of today’s generation.

With their guest star Kapuso prime actress Lovie Poe, they featured the female drivers of the motorcycle riding app Angkas and another ride-sharing app Grab. One of the contestants named Dhindhin shocked the guest star and the crowd when she revealed something.

Besides from being a driver, some of the female features in the game segment have other jobs. And one of the female Angkas drivers has four jobs that she does throughout the week.

Everyone was amazed by Dhindhin who was a civil engineer. But after her duty as an engineer, she was driving a motorcycle as a motorcycle-taxi driver.

On Saturday, Dhindhin is also participating as a television talent. She plays small roles in TV shows. And on Sundays, she works as a tricycle driver.

“Kaya po ako gumigising ng alas-4 para pumasok bilang Engineer. Pag-out ko po saka ako nag-a-Angkas hanggang alas-8. Nag-eextra rin po ako sa TV. Tricycle driver naman po ako pag Linggo,” Dhindhin told the show’s hosts.

According to hardworking Dhindhin, she does all this work because she is the breadwinner of her family. She supports her brothers in their studies and she was getting all their expenses paid.

“Nagagawa ko po iyan dahil nagpapaaral pa po ako ng mga kapatid ko. Doon lang po nakukuha mga pangangailangan nila,” Dhindhin added.

The post on Eat Bulaga’s official page immediately went viral on Facebook. The post’s reactions reached just over 80,000 and netizens saluted to Dhindhin’s diligence.
