Wanderland 2020 Postponed Due To Coronavirus Disease 2020
WANDERLAND 2020 – Organizers of the Wanderland Music and Arts Festival 2020 announced that the event has been postponed due to COVID-19.
The organizers announced the postponement on Wednesday due to the risk of the COVID-19 outbreak. This is days before the event would happen, which is set on March 7 to 8 at the Filinvest City Events Ground in Muntinlupa City.
In they Facebook post, they began by saying that they are on the final round with only days left.
They added that despite their efforts to place health and safety measures for the event, they had no choice but to postpone the event in lieu of the directive of the Muntinlupa City Government not to hold the event. The directive came from an advisory from the World Health Organization.
The organizers, however, said that this is no reason for them to “give up” the event adding that in lieu of their goal to provide the best experience of the festival, their top priority is the health and safety of the public.
“To all of you who have stuck by our side and continued to cheer us on, thank you for your support. Details about refunds and rescheduled dates will be announced soon. We hope for your understanding.”
“It’s not game over, Wanderers. We’r just at a time out”
