Kim Chiu Van Shot By Gunmen Onboard Motorcycle In Quezon
KIM CHIU VAN SHOT – Two gunmen riding on a motorcycle shot the Van of Kampilya Actress Kim Chiu, luckily, she and her companions were unharmed.
According to a report from ABS-CBN, the incident happened around the corner of Katipunan and CP Garcia avenues in Diliman. The actress was on her way to the set of her show, “Love Thy Woman”.
Chiu’s driver, Wilfredo Taperla stated:
Di namin napansin na may putukan sa likod, dito pala sa amin pinatama. Kami pala ang pinapaputukan,
As per the report, one bullet penetrated the van and targeted the spot were the actress usually studies her scripts. However, Chiu was lying down in a different part of the vehicle during the shooting.

According to reports, the two suspects were wearing black helmets and jackets. Afterward, they fled towards Katipunan Avenue following the shooting.
Based on a statement from Chiu’s driver, the incident happened around 6:19 a.m. In addition, Wilfredo stated that six gunshots were fired towards their van.
After the incident, the actress continued to her taping. Her close friend Daisy Cariño, wife of ABS-CBN anchor Jorge Cariño emphasized how Chiu had no enemies.
