South Korea Coronavirus: Korean Stars Donate Money For Prevention

South Korea Coronavirus infected persons rise in number and these stars donate huge amount for prevention.

SOUTH KOREA CORONAVIRUS – The number of patients with coronavirus in South Korea significantly increased in number and these stars donate monoey.

On Thursday, South Korea announced third death of patient infected of COVID-19 and the number of cases which significantly rose to 1,595. It was a 74-year-old man who showed symptoms on February 20 such as fever, cough, and experienced shortness of breath a few days later. The drastic increase in number made South Korea having the most infections outside mainland China.

For the prevention of the infectious virus, Korean superstars such as Gong Yoo, Suzy, Kim Woo Bin, and Son Ye Jin donated huge amount for the prevention of the virus in their country. “Goblin” actor Hong Yoo donated 100 million won to the Community Chest of Korea using his real name Gong Ji Chul. This is accordingly to be used to support “quarantine authorities and medical staff”. 100 million won is approximately Phph 4,185,966.39.

Meanwhile, “While You Were Sleeping” and “Vagabond” actress Suzy donated the same amount to Good Neighbors to help families with low income. “The Heirs” star Kim Woo-bin also dropped 100 million won Seoul’s Community Chest of Korea for socially disadvantaged people who are considered more likely to get infected easily.

“Crash Landing on You” actress Son Ye Jin gave out 100 million won to the Daegu branch of the Community Chest of Korea to combat coronavirus outbreak. As per PUSH, she stated, “I hope that [my donation] can provide some sort of practical help to lower-income residents who desperately need help now more than ever, as well as aid in the treatment and prevention of COVID-19.”

Other Korean stars who contributed for the same reason are: Park Hae-jin of “My Love from the Star”, Kim So-hyun of “Moon Embracing the Sun”, Kim Je-dong of “Healing Camp”, Kim Hye-eun of “Secret Love Affair”, Kim Han-bin or B.I of boy group iKon, Ju Ji-hoon of “Princess Hours”, Kim Dong-Wan of Shinhwa, Park Bo-Young of “Oh My Ghost”, Kim Hye-soo of “The Thieves”, Cha Eun-woo of boy group Astro, Jung Woo-Sung of “Beat”, and Hyeri of girl group Girl’s Day.
