PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration this February 26, 2020.

The latest weather update from the bureau states that the easterlies will be affecting the eastern section of the country on this day.

According to GMA News, the easterlies will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

The easterlies will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains or thunderstorms over the entire Visayas and Mindanao. The bureau warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur especially during severe thunderstorms.

As per the report, for the forecast wind speed, the eastern sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will have strong winds moving in the east to northeast with rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country will have moderate to strong winds moving in the east to northeast direction with moderate to rough coastal waters.
