Among the most well-loved celebrities and video bloggers is Alex Gonzaga. And amid the intensifying controversy regarding the ABS-CBN franchise renewal, they all remained calm and in support of their network as their bosses just recently faced the first hearing about it.
Reports claim that the franchise will expire in March 2020 but according to Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra says that it will be on May 2020. This is based on Section 15 of RA 7966 stating “This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days from the date of its publication in at least two (2) newspapers of general circulation in the Philippines,” where the law was enacted on March 30, 1995 and the company’s franchise being published on April 19, 1995.
And with the support flooding the bosses, several artists expressed their admiration to them. As for Alex, she also posted something about their boss ABS-CBN Corporation President and Chief Executive Officer Carlo Katigbak that caught social media attention and made many netizens laugh.
Sharing photo of her future husband Mikee Morada and her boss, she captioned it, “Kaya pala magaan ang loob ko sa boss namin,” and truly, they have similarities.
Alex and her three-year boyfriend Mikee Morada got engaged in Hong Kong last December 2019. And in a life update after announcing their engagement, she expressed how grateful she is for finding the person who accepted her and embraced her for who she is and someone who never attempted to change her.
