PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration this February 20, 2020.

The latest weather update from the bureau states that the northeast monsoon will affect Luzon on this day and will bring light rains in several areas of the country.

According to GMA, amihan will bring isolated rains over Metro Manila, Bicol Region, CALABARZON, Central Luzon, Cordillera Administrative Region and Cagayan Valley.

The northeast monsoon will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the rest of Luzon.

The entire Visayas and Mindanao will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies and isolated rains due to localized thunderstorms.

The bureau warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur especially during severe thunderstorms.

As per the report, the seaboards of Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon will have moderate to rough coastal waters with waves reaching up to 4 meters.

The rest of the country will have moderate to rough coastal waters with waves reaching up to 3.1 meters.

The sun has already risen at 6:19 AM and will set at about 6:01 PM.
