PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration this February 19, 2020.

The latest weather update from the bureau states that the northeast monsoon or amihan will still affect the country.

According to GMA, the northeast monsoon will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Davao Region and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon.

The weather system will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila, as well as the rest of the country.

As per the report, for the forecast wind speed, the eastern sections of Visayas and of Mindanao will have strong winds that are moving northeastward with rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country will have moderate to strong winds that are moving in the northeast to east direction with moderate to rough coastal waters.
