Road Accident Of Tricycle And Tanker In Mariveles Town, Bataan
ROAD ACCIDENT – A road accident involving a tricycle and an oil tanker occurred in the municipality of Mariveles in Bataan.
According to ABS-CBN, the road mishap occurred on Saturday afternoon in Barangay Maligaya of the said town.
This left with two men dead. Authorities said that the fatalities were identified as Reneil Milano and Edmund Ganigan.
Investigations from the Mariveles Municipal Police Station show that Milano, a tricycle driver, lost control of his vehicle that time on the area. This resulted to the vehicle heading to the other lane and crashed with the oncoming truck.
The impact caused Milano and Ganigan, who was his passenger, to flew. The sidecar also separated from the vehicle due to the impact.
Milano was found dead on the spot while Ganigan was taken to the hospital. Eventually, he, too, succumbed to his wounds and died.
As per the report, The truck driver will face charges for reckless imprudence resulting in double homicide and damage to property.
