Lolit Solis reacts to tirades of Robin Padilla against his network ABS-CBN.
LOLIT SOLIS – Veteran showbiz reporter Lolit Solis has this reaction over the controversial statements of Robin Padilla against ABS-CBN and other artists.
Amid the controversy of ABS-CBN on the verge of closing down, Robin Padilla quipped controversial statements which had caught social media attention and the attention of a network’s executive Ethel Espiritu. ABS-CBN exec told the actor to preach what he talk.
He has been working with the network for so many years receiving high compensation per shooting day but why does he have to reveal the anomalies just now if he had known it long ago already. And that if he is really “makabayan” and “makatao”, he should have shared the money he received to them.
And now, shocked over the statements made, Lolit Solis made his comment. She described as “kaloka” for dragging other celebrities in his issues to the point that he accordingly wanted them to open their bank book to the public. He, according to the post, was “punching blindly” to anyone losing the real essence of the issue regarding the network’s franchise expiring soon.
Solis added, “Siguro nga nasaktan siya sa sinabi ni Ethel Espiritu na Kamag-anak corporation na ginagawa niya pag may project siya, pero OK lang iyon, di ba kung mabibigyan mo trabaho iyon kamag-anak mo why not? Pero siguro dapat pag-isipan na ni Robin kung ano ba talaga ipinaglalaban niya, renewal, labor o ano pa?”
Meanwhile, in a previous article, Loren Legarda showed support for ABS-CBN by filing the 11th bill which is focused for the franchise renewal of the network.
