PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration this February 14, 2020.

In the bureau’s early morning forecast, amihan or northeast monsoon will affect Luzon and Visayas on this day.

According to GMA News, the easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorm over Caraga and Davao Region.

The bureau warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur especially during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila, as well as the rest of Luzon and the entire Visayas.

Lastly, the rest of Mindanao will face partly cloudy skies to cloudy skies with isolated rains due to localized thunderstorm. the bureau warned of flash floods or landslides especially during severe thunderstorms.

As per the report, for the forecast wind speed, the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao will have moderate to strong winds moving in the northeast to east direction with moderate to rough coastal waters.

Northern and central Luzon, on the other hand, will have light to moderate winds moving in the east to southeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Lastly, the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds moving in the northeast to east direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
