Mario Maurer, Baifern Reunion Movie Is Reportedly In Works
MARIO MAURER – Thai actors Mario Maurer and Baifern reportedly doing a reunion film titled “Laser Candy.”
Thai actor Mario Maurer is one of the most popular actors in Thailand. In 2012, he went to the Philippines to work on a movie project with Kapamilya actress Erich Gonzales.
The 31-year-old celebrity was rumored to be linked to the Filipina comedian Cacai Bautista. During an interview, the actress denied having feelings for Mario.
Mario and Baifern Pimchanok made us believe that true love waits. They starred at the romantic comedy film “Crazy Little Thing Called Love.”
Thousands of girls in the Philippines obsessively watched and rewatched their movies. The two actors had so much chemistry and it makes their fans want to visit Bangkok, Thailand.
10 years after the release of “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” it looks like the fans will be getting more of Mario and Baifern content. On Sunday, February 2, a fan Tweeted “Mario Maurer and Baifern will be reuniting in a new Thai Movie Laser Candy! No release date and other details yet but we’re already looking forward [to] it!”

A Facebook post from “Guru Magazine by Bangkok Post” said Mario Maurer and Baifern’s film will be “a modern love story set in the near future where an AI building is powered by human feelings. Due to a software glitch, it falls in love with a real girl, escapes the building into the body of a real man, and tries to win her affections.”
The FB post said the filming of their reunion movie is slated to begin on February 7, 2020.
