Still Unidentified Man Shot Senior Citizen, Wife in Zamboanga City

SENIOR CITIZEN – A still unidentified man shot a 63-year-old man and his wife in Zamboanga City.

Different types of heartbreaking incidents are happening in the different parts of the world every day. In the Philippines, it is almost everyday that there is at least one (1) attack that cost the life of another person or left someone injured.

These incidents have left several families grieving over the loss of a loved one and crying for justice. To those who were left injured, there has always been the fear for their lives that something worst may happen soon.

Recently, in Zamboanga City, another similar incident took place. It involved a couple.

Senior Citizen

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, a senior citizen and his wife were shot by a still unidentified man in Barangay Caneler, Zamboanga City. The incident that took the life of the 63-year-old man took place in front of a store.

According to Barangay Chairman Jesus Balan and the other residents in the area, they saw a man sitting outside a store. He was drinking softdrinks and when he allegedly saw the motorcycle of the couple, he stood from his seat and shot the two (2).

Based on the report, the residents did not remember the face of the suspect. He managed to get away from the area while the victims were rushed to the hospital.

The senior citizen man did not survive the incident while his wife was left wounded. She is working as a bookkeeper in a taxi cooperative.

Currently, the investigation over the incident is still ongoing. More updates may be posted soon.
