Taal Evacuee Starts Sari-Sari Store After He Keeps All Relief Goods Received

A Taal evacuee who returned to their home started a new business after he keeps all the relief goods he received while in the evacuation center.

The unity of Filipinos was seen when the Taal Volcano erupts. Assistance has come from various provinces and cities in the country for evacuees in Batangas and several nearby areas.

And to this day, assistance for affected residents continues to come. And now that Taal is just at Alert Level 3, some evacuees have been allowed to return to their homes fixing their houses and businesses.

Recently, a netizen named Christian Finn De Villa shared a photo of his newly opened store because of relief goods, which he had taken while still at the evacuation center. Christian jokes in his post, thanking those who helped them because they had an instant business.

“Christian’s sari-sari store is officially now open!! Salamat po sa nag-donate. Nagkatindahan po ako nang di inaasahan. #BangonBatangas,” said Christian who chose to be optimistic despite future trials.

His instant sari-sari store photos have gone viral on social media. His post reached just 9,700 reactions, 744 comments, and 7,300 shares with a picture of his wares.’

Many netizens have seen good vibes in Christian’s post. They were happy to know that even though they had problems because of Taal, they were still able to give a smile to Filipino netizens.

  1. I hope his neighbors beat him up and take that stuff. It was donated to the entire community and not to him to sell. Oooooonly in The Philippines!!!

  2. This guy is a thief and should be in jail after his neighbors beat him up, take his (theirs actually) stuff and burn his store.
