Little Boy Ran Over By SUV In Valladolid, Negros Occidental
VALLADOLID – A three-year-old boy was found dead after gatting ran over by a sports utility vehicle (SUV) in Valladolid, Negros Occidental.
According to SunStar the incident occurred on Sunday afternoon, January 27, 2020 in the road in Barangay Poblacion in the said municipality.
The police have requested not to identify the fatality, who is a resident of Barangay Poblacion.
Traffic investigators from the local Municipal Police Station reported that the sports utility vehicle, which was driven by Edwin Ofalla, aged 43 years, was heading south at the time of the incident.
The SUV made a left turn and head towards the direction of Barangay Alijis in the municipality when it accidentally hit the three-year-old boy.
As per the report, the boy was rushed to the municipal district hospital, and eventually to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital.
The child, however, passed away a few hours after he succumbed to his head injuries. As for Ofalla, he surrendered to the local police after the incident.
