After more than nine (9) years of being together, celebrity couple Mikael Daez and Megan Young capped off their relationship with a very private and low profile wedding yet very detail-oriented that most of you will surely love. It was just this Saturday, January 25, when they have officially announced that they have tied the knot.
As some of you probably know, the couple admitted their relationship just last 2017 and they have been together for six years then. This came as a big surprise to a lot of us. And now, consistent as to how they value their privacy, the Miss World 2013 titleholder and Kapuso actor surprised us once more with their wedding which was accordingly attended by 10 loved ones.
“January 10, 2020 was the day we officially sealed the deal 💕 we had an intimate ceremony at Caleruega attended by 10 loved ones,” Megan said in an Instagram post.
A bit non-traditional, the bride ditched the traditional bouquet and opted for a flower wreath instead. The whole celebration of love was of tangerine and nudes from church design to the reception. Both of them as hosts, they also hosted their own wedding reception which is definitely a genius move. For their love of coffee, they also made a corner for this for their guests. Also ditching the long trail wedding gown, she wore a dainty V back dress by Patricia Santos.
As per the engagement ring, Mikael said this, “She said she wanted a rock with the color of an iceberg so there ya go 🤙🏽 buti hindi rainbow hiningi niya, baka nahirapan ako 😂😝”
