In our previous report, there are now 830 cases if patients with the new virus and death toll from the virus have risen to 25, confirmed by the health authorities. The government of China ordered to lock down the City due to the outbreak.

Meanwhile, two Pinays had escaped from the City before the total locked down. One of them described the situation there, “It’s like an apocalypse.”

According to the report, they were named “Bhie” and “Cindy”, the two Pinay exits in Wuhan. Their face was never also shown for their protection.

Bhie and Cindy’s told GMA News, just before midnight of the lockdown, they received a text message to a friend about the city’s lockdown by 10:00 a.m. This means that trips to various types of transportation will not be allowed outside the city.

It was 6:00 am when they confirmed that the lockdown was taking place so people went ahead and boarded any vehicle coming out of the city. They were fortunate enough to rent a car that would take them to a nearby city.

“We’re feeling that it’s safe now cause we have left Wuhan na ngayon ay naka-lockdown na. It was really a chaos. It’s like an apocalypse. We actually thought we’re never gonna get out of Wuhan this morning,” they said.

The two were supposed to stay in Hong Kong before flying home to Manila. They are ready to be tested and quarantined if they need to return to the Philippines.
