Celebrity sisters Gretchen Barretto and Claudine Barretto discussed how to be a foster parent and what could be the reason behind this?
It is known to many that Claudine now has three adopted children – Sabina, Quia, and Noah. She introduced her youngest son on social media last October 2019. With this, several of her fans expressed admiration to her for giving her love to her children even though they are not related by blood.
Claudine’s only biological child is Santino, her son with estranged husband Raymart Santiago. However, that did not hinder the Optimum star to show the same love to her adopted children.
In line with being a foster parent, Claudine recently shared a photo showing the rules and guidelines to become one. She specifically showed the section wherein this was stated, “Revocation of License”. Enumerated below were the things that may be done to result in the revocation of the license.
“Palanggas for all that’s asking how to Foster/adopt eto po ang kailangan.This is the Legal way.kaya dapat po bigyan nyo ng Magandang buhay at importante angPAGMAMAHAL at GOOD HEALTH.idaan po natin sa Tamang way/LEGAL WAY po.goodnight po & Godbless,” Claudine wrote n the caption. She also tagged the IG account of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
This received a comment from Gretchen Barretto. “You mean to say if a foster parent is ill with cancer , fostering of the child will be REVOKED immediately?If the illness was concealed for the duration of the fostering? @dswd ?????” the former actress said.
Gretchen also shared on her IG story a section of the rules and regulations regarding the eligibility of a person to become a foster parent. Claudine shared this on her IG story also.
