Megastar Sharon Cuneta reacted to the tirade of her daughter Frankie Pangilinan against President Rodrigo Duterte.

It can be recalled that the President attacked Senator Francis Pangilinan saying that allegedly the husband of the Megastar left their home. However, Sharon, who has expressed support to Duterte, denied the allegations.

Frankie also answered this issue through her Twitter post. She said: “like imagine being more concerned with ‘ruining’ a perfectly happy family instead of… being… a good leader...”

In line with this, Sharon Cuneta shared her reaction, based on the article from PEP. “Mas bagay maging first lady si Frankie. Ang tapang! Hahaha!” she said.

She also said that being “matapang” runs in their blood. “Alam niyo naman ang daddy ko, guerilla nung araw,” the Megastar shared.

When it comes to her mother side, Sharon Cuneta said that her great-great grandmothers are members of the Katipunan. “So she has warrior blood from both sides,” the Megastar said about her daughter.

As a mother, Sharon understood why her daughter reacted that way against the President. The young woman just got hurt, according to the singer-actress. “And she’s very protective of the family, but she’s a very good girl,” she added.

Behind what happened, Sharon Cuneta expressed that she is still close to the President and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, based kn the article. It can be recalled that the presidential daughter previously revealed her closeness to the Megastar.

“You know, in our whole family muna, ako lang kasi at yung tatay ko ang may history with him and Inday Sara. ‘Tapos parehong mayor yung tatay ko at si Mayor Duterte noon. Ako yung parang anak-anakan niya, so I call him Tatay,” Sharon shared.
