The names of actress Ara Mina and her rumored boyfriend Philippine International Trading Corporation (PITC) President and Undersecretary Dave Almarinez were dragged in a road rage incident in Laguna.
The rumored relationship between Ara and Dave resurfaced when Jordanian national Hassan Rousan mentioned their names on Raffy Tulfo’s program Wanted sa Radyo last January 6, 2020. Based on the report from PEP, the incident happened in Binan, Laguna last December 22, 2019.
Atty. Shammarie del Rosario and her husband Ronald complained against Hassan Rousan and his girlfriend Laguna First District board member Abigael Alonte. The latter is the former personal assistant of Almarinez and he was the one who convinced her to run.
The lawyer showed a video as their evidence that the Jordanian-national and the female politician, who were allegedly drunk, hit them. “Pinagtulungan nila po ako, nung Jordanian din na babae… kapatid po siguro yun ng Jordanian na boyfriend ni Ma’am Abigael,” the lawyer said that this happened when they saw them recording the incident.
The name of Ara Mina and Dave Almarinez got involved when Atty. del Rosario said that Hassan mentioned prominent personalities who are close to him. “Sabi niya po, model siya. May nabanggit din po siyang mga personality. Natatakot po ako na banggitin ulit, baka kami ay balikan,” the lawyer said.
Tulfo insisted to reveal the names and del Rosario answered, “Sabi po nung Jordanian, ‘Close kami ni Dave Almarinez. Magkasama kami palagi at saka ni Ara Mina. Model ako. May small business ako sa Jordan,'” she elaborated.
