Manila, Philippines – Mayor Isko Domagoso Moreno shows the cleanliness of Luneta Park and other parts of Manila after the celebration of the New Year.
Recently, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno shares some photos on his official Facebook page the clean Luneta Park and other parts of Manila after the celebration of New Year.
Mayor Isko shared on his Facebook page a picture of clean Manila on the first day of 2020. The Manila Department of Public Services leads in maintaining the cleanliness of the area.
Contrary to the anticipated garbage heap often found on the road in the morning of the new year, not a single bag of trash was found on the streets of Manila. Aside from the crowded Luneta Park on December 31 due to the new year’s festivities, Isko also featured images of streets of Juan Luna, Ylaya, MB Santos, Tabora, Carmen Planas and Sto. Christ clean and without waste.
The mayor once recalled his frustration when he saw that there was a pile of rubbish in Divisoria again. He saw it himself when he roamed around the area after he allowed the sidewalk vendors there to resell for Christmas.
Therefore, Mayor Isko is grateful that Manila has maintained its cleanliness despite the massive celebrations in the area. The city has also garnered praise for showing good examples in other parts of the country.
