A disappointed netizen shares a photo of foreign tourists who hang their clothes at the seats of Cebu Domestic Airport in Mactan.

The Department of Tourism (DOT) recently recognized the 8th million tourists who came to the country. This is a huge success in the country as it is an indication of the increasing number of foreign visitors to the Philippines and one of the main sectors of economic growth is tourism.

However, for some time foreigners are also causing problems for our countrymen. Proof that the uploaded photo of a netizen about foreigners, instead of maintaining the well-being of one of the recognized airports in the country, has added to the burden of some Filipino travelers.

Netizen Jef Araula recently shared a picture of the seats at the Cebu Domestic Airport where foreigners make it as tenter. Clothes, shoals, and other items were visible in the two rows of seats at the airport.

In Jef’s post he did not say who did the hanging on the chairs. As a result, his Facebook friend said may Filipinos would not have made it to our own airport.

Jef explained that foreigners and non-Filipinos hang out in the seats.

“Caucasians, foreigners, family traveler. I searched around the airport for security personnel. Wala akong nahanap. I wanted for security to remind them of etiquette. Apparently, they don’t have any in their country,” Jef replied to the friend who asked.
