Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo met Yorme Isko Moreno
Kapuso couple Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo were overwhelmed to meet Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno also known as Yorme.
Jennylyn and Dennis, collectively known as JenDen, are more than just celebrity couple because they also shared the same stage with their CoLove. It is what they call for their song collaboration.
Just recently, the couple featured their gig at Kartilya in Katipunan Memorial Shrine in Manila. They rendered some of their covers that brought happiness and “kilig” to their audience.
After their sort of street concert, JenDen had courtesy call to Mayor Isko. “Siyempre, respeto rin sa Mayor ng Maynila,” Dennis said. When the couple finally met the former actor, it can be seen that they were overwhelmed.
Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo thanked the Yorme Isko Moreno for allowing them to perform for the people of Manila. In exchange, the politician also thanked the couple.
“Sa inyo, thank you dahil sumaya ‘yung mga tao,” the mayor said. He also shared with the couple the development in the capital city of the Philippines.
“You know Jones Bridge where you can see the riverside? We have an idea like Clarke Quay and Boat Quay in Singapore. We’re gonna do that. I just approved the plan. Magiging walkable space na ang buong Lawton and if you wanna cross Intramuros you have to use underpass,” Mayor Isko shared.
The former actor turned politician mentioned other places that they already cleaned to improve the city such as in Binondo. For Jennylyn and Dennis, it was a memorable experience performing at Kartilya as well as meeting Mayor Isko Moreno.
“At sa lahat ng mga tumulong sa amin para makapag-perform kami rito, and of course kay Yorme, maraming maraming salamat,” the singer-actress said.
