The weather bureau said this in wake of the devastating Typhoon Ursula which left the nation with 28 fatalities and tens of thousands more in evacuation centers on holiday.

According to a report from ABS-CBN News, Ursula was last seen at about 335 kilometers west as of 4 AM. It will no longer have any direct effect on the country.

Weather bureau forecaster Ezra Bulquerin said that it is expected to leave the Philippine area of Responsibility (PAR) on Saturday.

On New Year’s Eve, Philippines will expect fair weather with instances of light rain in the afternoon or evening.

On Friday, Ilocos, Cordillera, and Cagayan Valley regions and Aurora province will face cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms.

Based on the report, Metro Manila, as well as the rest of the country, will face fair weather with isolated rains in the afternoon or evening.

As per the temperature, Metro Manila will face a maximum 31 degrees Celsius, 27 degrees Celsius in Tagaytay, 21 degrees Celsius in Baguio, 29 degrees Celsius in Davai, and 30 degrees Celsius in Cebu.
