Pokwang talked about the generosity of Vic Sotto
Kapamilya comedienne Pokwang talked about the generosity of Eat Bulaga host Bossing Vic Sotto during a recent interview.
Pokey, as what the comedienne is fondly called in showbiz, had the chance to work with the Kapuso comedian in the Metro Manila Film Festival 2019 entry Mission Unstapabol: The Don Identity. However, they already did a movie in the past but the warm welcome from Bossing is still the same, according to her.
“Yung unang movie ko with Bossing, talagang yung embrace nila sa akin, yung pagtanggap bilang Kapamilya. Masaya yung pagtrato, akala mo yung ang tagal-tagal na naming magkatrabaho. Ngayon, sa ‘Unstapabol,’ talaga namang mas lalo ngayon,” she shared.
She added that it felt like they miss each other. Pokey said, “spoiled kami, yung schedule namin super ang pag-adjust nila sa amin. Minsan nahihiya na nga kami kasi, siyempre, kailangan nating magtulungan, di ba? Pagkain, ganyan lahat, pak, spoiled kami, sobra!”
Pokwang also commended the working attitude of Bossing Vic Sotto, especially his generosity. “Sa sobrang generous niya, may bago akong kotse sa labas! Ha-hahaha!” the comedienne exclaimed.
When the members of the media asked her if she is telling the truth or just joking, she answered. “Parating pa lang. Ha-hahaha! Hindi, pero alam mo yung niyakap ka lang niya, yung sinabi niyang ‘walang Kapamilya, walang Kapuso, lahat pantay,’ yun pa lang [napakasaya] na ng puso ko. Matutuwa ka na. talaga kung paano ka nila tratuhin sa set,” she said.
Meanwhile, Kapamilya hunk actor Jake Cuenca agreed to what Pokey said about the warm welcome they received from Bossing Vic, based on the article from Bandera. He also said that he learned a lot from the veteran comedian-host just by looking at him.
