Vietnamese, Filipino, Malaysian Artists Team Up for New Song Entitled “Save Our Seas”
VIETNAMESE – A Vietnamese rapper team up with Filipino and Malaysian musicians to defend the sovereignty of their waters.
The issue regarding the ownership of the West Philippine Sea is still ongoing. China claimed that the disputed island is theirs despite the Arbitral Tribunal 2016 ruling.
Chinese are still continuing their operations in the disputed island. Millions of Filipino people a desire to end the issue because the livelihood of the Pinoy fishermen is also affected. In June this year, the fishermen from Occidental, Mindoro claimed that a Chinese ship sunk their boat.
In a previous article, the Malacañang Palace admitted that the West Philippine Sea is controlled by China. “Sila ang may kontrol, as of now. Meron silang pwersa doon. We can only protest like any other country na may claim like Vietnam. Saka ‘yun lang ang magagawa natin,” said Panelo.
Recently, a Vietnamese rapper named Tu P released a new single titled “Save Our Seas” featuring Filipino rapper Mark Sickmind, Malaysian singer Mei Lee. These musicians collaborated to defend the sovereignty of their waters.
The song is making a very important statement in securing the sovereignty of Southeast Asia. It is now available for download on all major online stores.
Tu P shared the music video on his Facebook account. It has garnered 22 thousand reactions, 440 comments, and 10K shares as of this writing.
