In a recent article, we can recall that Chen Tangbin, the victim’s partner and his friend, Zhu Jianwe were made persons of interest by authorities. This was because their names were on the deed of sale for the van recovered at the crime scene.

Makati City Police Major Gideon Ines stated that there were a lot of inconsistencies with the husband’s stories. He added that Zhou Mei was with his friend who could possibly be inside the van as well.

In addition to this, the investigators have discovered a condominium unit used by the victim’s abductors in Pasay. There, they found expired passports, ID’s and a pair of handcuffs.

The police added that one of the 4 suspects in the kidnapping had already fled the country according to immigration records. Moreover, Zhou Mei, the victim, was an employee of a Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO).
