Woman Who Assaulted Saleslady In Cebu City “Mentally Ill”

CEBU CITY – Medelina Yamazaki, the woman who assaulted a promodizer in a mall in Cebu City, was diagnosed with mental illness.

Yamazaki was the woman in a viral video where she threw a lot of items, including a humidifier, to the saleslady Jennifer Fabiliar.

She was eventually arrested by the police and was charged by Fabiliar with grave threat, malicious mischief, physical injury, unjust vexation and damage to property.

Yamazaki’s family will not bail her and wanted her to undergo a psychiatric evaluation. Yamazaki also did not file a counter-affidavit and a right to preliminary investigation before the inquest proceeding.

Recently, she underwent psychiatric evaluation in Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center.

According to KAMI, the the psychiatrist who tend to Yamazaki revealed that she was diagnosed with mental illness. The psychiatrist recommended that she must be taken to a mental institution.

Mabolo Police Station chief investigator Jeffrey Larrobis added that this made further sense when Yamazaki went silent upon further interrogation as if nothing happened.

As per the report, even inside the station, she shamelessly assaulted a police officer.
