Kris Aquino’s Ex-Business Partner Nicko Falcis Arrested At NAIA
KRIS AQUINO – The ex-business partner of actress Kris Aquino, Nicko Falcis, was arrested upon his arrival at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
In October 2018, Kris Aquino filed a criminal complaint against her former business partner Nicardio “Nicko” Falcis II. He allegedly used the funds for her online company ‘Kris Cojuangco Aquino Productions’ (KCAP).
He is facing 44 counts of qualified theft and violation of the Access Devices Regulation Act. Falcis flew to Bangkok, Thailand upon Kris’ instruction to attend a short course but he did not return to the Philippines after receiving a “death threat” from the actress.
Nicko Falcis later filed a grave threats case against the former multi-media personality in January 2019. In April, Kris Aquino withdrew the qualified theft she filed against him.
Based on a report from ABS-CBN News, Falcis was nabbed by the agents of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and the Bureau of Immigration (BI) on Thursday, December 12, upon his arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 (NAIA-1) from Bangkok, Thailand. He is with his family when apprehended.
The immigration officer informed Kris Aquino’s former business partner of the arrest warrants after he presented his passports. According to the report, a source close to Falcis’ family said he was released from detention today.
He posted bail at Pasay night court on Thursday of P6,000 for estafa and P60,000 for the access device case. He was released on Friday afternoon. The source said Nicko’s family said they expected the arrest. They just wanted to be reunited with him this Christmas.
Several personalities got involved in the conflict between Kris and Nicko such as Gretchen Barretto, BIR chief Kim Henares, and Lolit Solis.
