Driver Of Jeep Who Hit Elderly Woman In Barangay Tangub Identified
BARANGAY TANGUB – The driver of the jeep who recently hit and killed an elderly woman in Barangay Tangub was finally identified.
The elderly woman, identified as Nelia Bo-oc, 74 years of age, was confirmed dead after getting hit by a jeep, which takes the route Pulupandan – Bacolod, near City hardware in the Barangay Tangub highway, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental at approximately 9 AM in the morning.
Netizen Liie Zel took photos of the aftermath of the incident and further said that Bo-oc received serious injuries from her head, which led to her death.
The driver of the said jeep was finally found and was identified as Arnold Villareta from Barangay Calumagan in the city of Bago.
Villareta claimed that he hit Bo-oc by accident. He further added did not notice Bo-oc crossing the highway. Villareta apologized to the family of Bo-oc for the tragedy.
