We can recall that back in 2013, Reynoso entered The Voice blind auditions and gave a powerful performance that got apl.de.ap standing in the first few seconds. Lea Salonga turned her chair first followed by apl and Sarah.

Although, Reynoso shared a similar story to apl.de.ap. Her mother was a Filipina and her father was from South Africa, however, she never met her real parents and got adopted.

Right from the start, apl told Reynoso that she was like his long-lost sister. With that, she chose apl.de.ap as her coach.

The Black Eyed Peas member then said that he would work hard to make her known internationally. Skip ahead a few years later, apl.de.ap stayed true to his word.

Six years later, Reynoso was introduced by her coach to an international audience. Because of apl.de.ap, she got to join the iconic group, “The Black Eyed Peas” in their 2019 world tour.

With her new group, she performed at the closing ceremony of the 2019 SEA Games. They gave an incredible performance worthy of a gold medal.

The group sang their classic hits like “Time of my Life, Where is the Love?, Bebot, and I got a feeling”. Also on their setlist was the APL song, a story about the struggles and triumphs of the Filipino people, and apl.de.ap’s own life story.

The Black Eyed Peas have been one of the biggest groups in the music scene. They made the most memorable party songs of the decade that you can’t help but vibe along to.
