Because of this, several netizens asked if the two are already dating. Many thought that there is already something between them as it is unlikely for them to be together in that kind of event.
Mayor Vico also received bashing due to those photos. A basher said that the son of Vic Sotto and Coney Reyes was just dating amid the flooding in Pasig. However, the young politician answered that there was no reported flooding incident in his jurisdiction during the typhoon Tisoy.

“Hi Salve. Not true ‘yung Gretchen Ho and Mayor Vico (Sotto),” the reliable source close to the politician texted the columnist. According to Asis, the response from the said source was delayed. When asked if that was not a date, the source answered, “No. She interviewed lang Vico.”
The source also reiterated that Mayor Vico is not courting the Kapamilya host. It was also confirmed that the young politician has no girlfriend. According to the source close to him, he is so busy and has no time in having a romantic relationship, based on the article.
