A commotion happened inside a mall in the Queen City of the South at about 7 PM on December 7, 2019 where a woman threw an item and lambasted a saleslady.

Jennifer Fabiliar, the saleslady Yamazaki assaulted, charged the latter with grave threat, malicious mischief, physical injury, unjust vexation and damage to property. Fabiliar filed the said cases at the Cebu City Prosecutor’s Office on Monday (December 9).

According to SunStar, Fabiliar was further aided by representatives from her employer Mia Maison Home Fragrance, specifically Sherryl Guevarra, assistant operations manager of Mia Maison.

Guevarra further said that they will support their employee until the end of the case, further saying they want justice for Fabiliar, who is the company’s frontliner.

The company further said that they wanted Fabiliar to undergo stress debriefing.

Based on the report, Staff Sgt. Enrique Manolong, investigator of the Mabolo Police Station, said that Yamazaki was enraged when Fabiliar told her to stop and threw the humidifier at the latter’s face.

“Yamazaki told me the customer is always right. She also said she could do whatever she wanted with the humidifier since she’d pay for it anyway,”

Manolong said that Yamazaki went silent when they took her to jail last Sunday. However, she made a commotion and slapped one police officer.
