MICO PALANCA – Here’s what happened to the romantic relationship of Bea Alonzo and Mico Palanca 11 years ago which was in 2008.
December 9, 2019 – The actor Mico Palanca shocked everyone by his sudden and untimely death by jumping off a building which ultimately ended his life. In an official statement from his family, it stated there, “The whole family is grateful for the incredible outpour of love and support that has been coming in today. As of now, we would like to respectfully request for privacy as we go through this very difficult time.”
And now, recalling his life before, he was known as the ex-boyfriend of Bea Alonzo but it did not work out. Their relationship ended in 2008 and made it to the headlines of various news platforms. And Bea, openly recalling his relationship with him during an interview in 2013, recalled that he was a bad boyfriend to her.
They worked together in 2002 series “K2BU,” and later the primetime series “It Might Be You”. Based on ABS-CBN report way back 2013 with the actress, she shared that among the reason why they ended their romance is because of their age gap. He is 10 years older than her and pursued her for four years.
Another reason why it didn’t work out is that they don’t fit in each other’s world. And at that time, she had these insecurities where she wasn’t able to find the much-needed encouragement from her own boyfriend.
She said based on the article, “Baka kailangan niya ng mas pasensiyosang babae or something. Baka I loved myself more at that point. I needed to love myself more kasi, alam mo, totoo no’ng time na ‘yon, I didn’t think I was pretty. Iniisip ko, ang taba ko. Ang dami kong insecurities, ‘yong mga gano’n. Eventually no’ng nakawala na ‘ko doon sa mga ganong pag-iisip, ang mali ko lang, mali lang ‘yong man na minahal ko.”
