PH Latest Weather Update Released by PAGASA

WEATHER UPDATE – The state weather bureau PAGASA released the latest weather update in the country.

On Saturday (December 7, 2019), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration reported that the Tail-End of a Cold Front and the northeast monsoon would affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA said that the Tail-End of a Cold Front would bring scattered rains over Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, Isabela, and Apayao. Flashfloods and landslides are also expected in these areas due to heavy rains.

The northeast monsoon is also expected to bring cloudy conditions with scattered light rains over the Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos provinces, Northern Aurora and the rest of Cagayan.

The weather agency said that gusty conditions in coastal and mountainous areas are expected in the affected provinces.

The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country. Flash floods and rain-induced landslides are also expected during severe thunderstorms.

PAGASA also said that the coastal water conditions over northern Luzon would be rough. While the Visayas and the rest of Luzon would have moderate to rough coastal waters.

The surrounding sea conditions over the region of Mindanao would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
