Road Accident in Laguna Followed by Police Being Shot After He Fired First

POLICE – A policeman was shot in Calamba, Laguna following a road accident involving his motorcycle and another motorcycle.

Recently, a road accident took place in Calamba, Laguna. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, one of the vehicles was boarded by an active cop, Police Lieutenant Ramil Gonzales. The other vehicle was boarded by a retired policeman, Jujardin Velasco, and a certain Richard Pineda.

According to Calamba Chief Lt. Col. Gene Licud, the motorcycle of Velasco and Pineda was behind Gonzales’ vehicle when the accident took place. The active cop thought it was really intentional. Thinking what happened was intentional, the active police reportedly took his firearm and shot the retired cop.

Based on the report, Pineda also shot Gonzales which led to his death. He rushed Velasco to the hospital and escaped. An operation is currently conducted to catch Pineda.
