Filipina model and beauty queen Gazini Ganados will be the ones representing the Philippines for the much-awaited Miss Universe pageant. It will be held in Atlanta, Georgia this coming December 8, 2019.
Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray will crown her successor at the end of the contest. In a previous article, she said she’s excited to wear her gown for the coronation night.
In the 2018 Miss Universe pageant, Catriona Gray wowed the pageant fans for being so confident and proud of her country. From gowns to accessories, it’s meticulously designed to represent the Philippines.
She wore a “Three Stars and a Sun” earrings during the coronation night in Bangkok, Thailand. Her ear cuff just shows how proud and patriotic she is.
For this year’s bet, Gazini Ganados will be wearing a “watawat” earrings at the 68th edition of the Miss Universe pageant. It was revealed on December 2 through social media.
The photo patriotic earring was uploaded by the accessory designer Kathryn Fanlo on her Instagram. It was inspired by the national flag of the Philippines. It came with a caption, “Wearing our flag with pride. ‘WATAWAT’. Made these customized PH flag inspired earrings especially for @gazinii. Thank you for helping promote local talent and showing the rest of the world our rich culture.”
