Lani Mercado Speaks on Jolo Revilla-Angelica Alita Wedding
LANI MERCADO – Bacoor City Mayor Lani Mercado broke her silence on the wedding of Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla and beauty queen Angelica Alita.
One of the celebrities who is getting married is actor-politician Jolo Revilla. He is about to officially tie the knot with his beauty queen fiancee, Angelica Alita, in the United States.
Jolo is the first son of Senator Bong Revilla Jr. and Bacoor City Mayor Lani Mercado to get married. His wedding with Angelica Alita will specifically be in Pelican Hill, Newport Beach, California.
Based on a report on Pep, recently, Lani broke her silence on Jolo’s wedding with Angelica. She also revealed what she likes about her soon-to-be daughter in law.
According to Lani Mercado, Angelica Alita is supportive of Jolo Revilla. She also revealed that she is a simple person although she is a beauty queen and her son is at ease with her.
“She’s very supportive of Jolo. Nakikita ko na at ease si Jolo with her. Very, very supportive,” the Bacoor City Mayor said.
When asked why Jolo and Angelica would be tying the knot in the States, Lani expressed that it was really the decision of the couple. Meanwhile, she also affirmed that her son has willingly told them about his plan since he proposed to the beauty queen.
“I do believe na ano na ‘to, napapanahon, tamang panahon na para sa kanya. Nagpaalam naman. Kumbaga, sa pamilya namin, alam na namin na ikakasal siya,” she expressed based on the report.
It is the second time that Sen. Bong Revilla and Bacoor City Mayor Lani Mercado’s child would be tying the knot. The first one was their daughter Inah who has three (3) children now. Jolo is the first son to get married.
