Filipina beauty queen and model Gazini Ganados will be representing the Philippines for the much-awaited Miss Universe 2019 pageant. It will be held at the Tyler Perry Studious in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States this coming December 8.
Before she flew to the US, she asked her fellowmen to pray for her journey at the prestigious pageant. Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray will crown her successor at the end of the event.
In a previous article, Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz, Miss Universe 1973 Margie Moran and Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach were asked about the chance of the Philippines to get a back-to-back win.
Diaz gave Gazini Ganados a 50/50 chance on the pageant while Moran said the “it all depends on the judges.” On the other hand, Pia said she thinks the Cebuana beauty queen already got several pointers.
A few days ago, Star Music finally released the advocacy video of Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados. Her advocacy focuses on elderly people.
“In having love and respect towards our elderly, it is with love that we give back to the people who took care of us. They have contributed to our core, the foundation of our being,” she said.
Recently, the video of Gazini Gandos teaching her fellow Miss Universe candidate the Filipino word “Binibini” went viral on social media. The video was shared on Sash Factor Instagram.
The 23-year-old beauty queen taught the candidates from Colombia, Bolivia, and Angola on how to introduce themselves using the word “binibini.”
